Berenice was born May 19 1979 in Paris France. She is an ethnic mix of French Chinese origin and Cambodian of Cambodian descent. Born to a middle-class French-speaking family and raised by a Chinese father and an Cambodian mother. Her father is a physician while her mother was an educator.
